In 1979, some determined winegrowers, assisted by André Dubosc embarked on the challenge of giving back the letters patent of nobility to the wines of their region: Saint-Mont, Madiran, Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, Vin de Pays des Côtes de Gascogne.
Together, they founded Plaimont.
Their philosophy is a respect for the age-old traditions.
Aware of the necessity to preserve their land and heritage for future generations they use environmentally friendly methods and help young winegrowers set themselves up.
