La Table du Malin

Planted on the most beautiful slopes of the Madiran appellation, the Tannat grape variety offers enough freshness and richness to express itself without the need for added sulphites. La Table du Malin, the first cuvée without added sulphites, is round, delicious and fruity with beautiful balance on the palate.

Vineyard

Grapes are selected for their irreproachable condition and collected at phenolic maturity from medium-vigour vines planted on clay-gravel soil. These plots favour the aromatic expression of the appellation’s grape varieties (black fruit, spices).

Winemaking

After ageing in stainless-steel vats for 10 months at 10°C, preserving the natural CO2 produced during fermentation, the wine is then bottled in a controlled nitrogen atmosphere to prevent contact with oxygen, without being fined or stabilised. From the moment the grapes arrive in the cellar to their bottling in a sterile environment, no sulphites are added.

Taste

A beautiful dark colour, this wine reveals a powerfully fruity nose and excellent balance on the palate, with a fruity, round and delicious profile. It displays good structure and freshness on the finish. A modern and well-balanced Madiran.
